i am deeply honoured and blessed to have worked with the late @xvan.jpg before, and be given the chance to write and sing on his tribute ep release, working together with @itsevanturetime @foxela n @brittlebearmusic to bring his tracks out to the world. xvan was an amazing, creative and talented producer who was very passionate about music and we could see this through his works, as well as the way he talked about music.
while writing the lyrics to "Sunlight" and "all in(my head)", i tried to convey my introspective thoughts and struggles with regards to life and direction as well as trying to come out of a bad mental state. i also did my best to match the lyrics and melody to the feel of each track and, like @itsevanturetime said, i too hope that we were able to stay true to xvan's artistry and showcase his works authentically to the world.
